About Us

The Lions Club of Nillumbik is small but enthusiastic and has been having fun while helping our local community since 2010.

This community in which we live is, on the whole, extremely lucky. There is, however, disadvantage around us which is almost invisible. We are determined to help alleviate this disadvantage as much as possible.

Funds raised from our Christmas Raffle will be used to distribute approximately 70 Christmas Hampers to disadvantaged families. These hampers have a Christmas meal, other supplementary foodstuffs plus toys and gifts donated through the Eltham High School Swimming Squad annual swimathon.

The Lions constitution requires that every cent raised from the community is returned to the community so there are no charges to administration.

Lions is a great way to meet new friends and have fun while helping our local community.
